The accommodations presented here are legally authorized to be disclosed and represented by Tourismprohost,Lda.
Tourismprohost, Lda has the function of promoting and managing short- and long-term rental properties.
The Additional Services presented here are merely informative, being managed by entities external to Tourismprohost, Lda. All management of bookings, payments, and other issues are the sole responsibility of these same entities. Tourismprohots, Lda through its website (www.rentinguimares.pt), only discloses the service, collects requests and data.
The Tours presented here, by Tourismprohost, Lda are operated by external companies. All bookings and payments for the Tours are managed by Tourismprohost, Lda. However, it is subject to cancellations (see cancellation policy).
CHECK-IN e CHECK-OUT
In most of our houses we have a personalized check-in where we will personally welcome you and hand you the keys. For this, it is necessary to book the check-in time in advance (+351 918 840 269).
Check-in time: Between 16:00 and 20:00 (with the possibility of doing outside these hours, to be arranged in advance)
Check-out time: until 11:00
Due to the requirements of Portuguese Law, all foreign citizens (who do not have Portuguese nationality) are required to declare their entry, as such Rentinguimaraes will send in advance by email for your convenience and speed, a form to be completed and will be checked in person. at check-in, where original documents will be required. For the remaining guests of Portuguese nationality, they will only have to present an identification document.
General accommodation rules:
- Smoking is not allowed inside the houses and in common areas. You can smoke only in designated spaces.
- Parties/events are not allowed.
- Respect the maximum occupancy of the property (available in the ad).
- The General Regulation of Silence, permitted by law is between, 22:00 and 08:00.
- The use of electricity for charging electric cars or similar is not allowed, unless authorized and conditional on the same.
- Pets are not allowed outside and inside the accommodation.
- Other rules may apply for different properties. Our welcome and information books are available with the rules in the house you have chosen.
Heads up! In case of suspected breach of the rules, Rentinguimaraes reserves the right to confirm by accessing the house, without prior notice. Failure to comply with the rules results in the immediate cancellation of the Accommodation service, without refund of the amount paid for the accommodation and respective deposit, and guests are obliged to end their stay immediately.
Booking Conditions
The person responsible for the reservation must be at least 18 years old and stay in the reserved house for the entire stay. Identification documents of all occupants will be required upon arrival.
Reservation: To reserve, you must make the full payment, via the website, using the available payment methods.
Payment: If you want a VAT number on the invoice, please inform us when making your reservation. We reserve the right not to correct your invoice at a later date if we do not have information about the taxpayer number at the time of issuance.
Cancellation: See Cancellation Policy
Security deposit: For some accommodations, a guarantee deposit amount will be required per stay, not included in the price. The security deposit will be paid during check-in and the refund is made during check-out, after inspection of the apartment. Rentinguimaraes reserves the right to withhold part of the deposit or its entirety, in case damages caused directly during your stay are detected. If the damage exceeds the security deposit to Rentinguimaraes, it reserves the right to ask for the missing amount.
Key/Key Card or Access Code: The Key/Key Card will be delivered at check in. The Key/Key Card must not be left at the reception during the stay. The Key/Key Card must be returned to reception only at check out. In case of loss or misplacement, a fee may apply.
If you want to reduce the number of nights of your stay, after making the reservation, you must request it in writing via email: [email protected] (the refund will be made after an evaluation, upon check-in date)
Children’s Conditions
All children are welcome in our holiday homes!
Some of our holiday homes have free cribs and baby chairs (baby kit). Consult Rentinguimaraes to know the conditions of cribs and chairs for your holiday home. To reserve the crib and highchair, you must let us know at the time you make the reservation. The baby kit is subject to advance reservation, so we reserve the right not to provide this service if we do not have information about it in advance. It is mandatory to present Documentation of the minor who is staying together with their parents or legal guardians.

Prices
Prices shown in advertisements are subject to change without notice, however once a reservation is confirmed and the reservation fee paid, the prices agreed in the reservation will always be valid and maintained.
All prices include VAT at the legal rate in force.
Cleaning
Our holiday homes are cleaned and disinfected before and after your stay by a team of professionals who contribute to your well-being on your holiday.
For stays longer than 7 nights, cleaning, disinfection and change of towels and sheets are included.
After check-in, the holiday home you have chosen will be taken care of by you, so it is your responsibility to supply all detergents and consumables. Upon check-out, the property must be delivered tidy and minimally clean. Some important points to bear in mind when handing over your property:
- The grill/barbecue and the oven must be delivered clean and free of ash. If they are dirty, a deposit fee of €20 may be charged;
- The kitchen must be delivered clean, with the dishes washed or machine washed. If they are dirty, a deposit fee of €20 may be charged;
- No garbage should be left in the property – €20 deposit fee;
- Towels or sheets stained, lost or torn:
Per bath towel – 15€
Per face towel – €8.50
For bathing – 10€
Per set of single sheets – 40€
Per set of double sheets – €75
If you want a holiday without any work, we have a cleaning service available during your stay, for 15€/hour. If you want to hire our services, let us know in time to schedule an appointment with our cleaning professionals.
Others
Please check that you lock windows and doors during your absence and that you don’t forget anything when you leave. Rentinguimaraes is not responsible for any stolen or missing object inside or outside the holiday homes, as well as objects forgotten after check-out.
Most of our properties are located in private condominiums with swimming pools. Sometimes, unforeseen situations arise under the responsibility of condominiums that need access to the property for their resolution. Rentinguimaraes regrets any inconvenience during your holidays, however it is not responsible for any situation external to the management of the Accommodation property. Example: Swimming pool, TV signal, elevators, works, plumbing and others.
If any equipment needs intervention, please let us know. To proceed with the repair and/or replacement of some equipment we will communicate in a timely manner.
Properties
All properties on our website are contracted directly to the owners/legal representatives, or to companies that manage properties (local partners), and which are legally authorized by the respective owners to lease.
The properties are managed, prepared and maintained by the respective owners and/or their representatives for this purpose, as well as by other entities to which such powers may have been delegated.
Our company, through the current website or the extended network of websites, manages and guarantees the entire booking process from the request for availability information to the moment of entry into the property.
From the moment you enter the property, our website will only serve as a mediator between owner/representative and customer, providing support and emergency contacts.
Visits
Our holiday home rental service does not provide the property visits service (unless communicated by Rentinguimares).
Other Services Adjacent to the Lease
-The properties can be the target of various types of technical interventions, on a permanent basis or on a one-off basis, on which the good maintenance of infrastructure and equipment depends, with a view to guaranteeing habitability and comfort conditions for tenants, especially Gardening, Pool Maintenance and Sanitation.
Occasionally, there may be a need for specific interventions for repairs, replacements or additions to existing equipment.
If the customer rejects or disables any of these services, or prevents access to the property, for whatever reason, it will result in the loss of the right to that service and be held responsible for damages caused by the impediment. the existence of a number of people greater than the announced capacity of the respective property, will result in an immediate termination of the right to temporary lease, forcing the immediate abandonment of the property of the number of people in excess of that capacity. Compensation of €50 for the stay per extra person will also be due.
Final Remarks
In case of violation of these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to exercise any and all legally prescribed actions. In addition, we reserve the right, at our discretion, to terminate access to or use of the site, with or without notice to the user.
The Terms and Conditions of use of the Site are regulated in accordance with the laws in force.
If any of the conditions described herein is considered illegal, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be eliminated or reduced in accordance with the law, without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining conditions.
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. The User is bound by the version of the Terms and Conditions at the time of use, so we recommend that you consult it periodically.
Other conditions not expressed in these Terms and Conditions are subject to prior agreement between guest and our team.
In accordance with Law no. 144/2015, in the event of a dispute, the competent authority is the Vale do Ave Consumer Conflict Arbitration Center – www.triave.pt.
